Linda Tate has a passion for teaching culinary education. As an athlete she always knew the importance of food for performance and healthy living. During her yoga teacher training at the Sivananda Ashram in Paradise Island she started to become curious about food, farming and soil. She went on to attend the Natural Gourmet Institute and has a unique approach to food for thriving and as a part of overall well-being.

During culinary school she created Foodsparkle and uses this programming with the kids. Natural Gourmet Institute has a focus on plant based culinary, health supportive diets and sustainability and she finds fun ways to introduce these concepts to the kids so they can have fun and thrive.

After culinary school she partnered with Lox Farms to host Farm Fridays, a volunteer experience for the local community to connect to the earth and farming practices. Linda and Lox Farms are a natural partner as they have many synergies. She is excited to offer curriculum for Fresh Rx kids and share the mission of sustainable, healthy farming and eating to the next generation.

She is also a certified health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and completed her undergraduate at Rutgers University. Her business Lila Life, has a number of coaching programs to help people with lifestyle modifications and mindset to live their best life. When she isn’t running her business, coaching or teaching you can find her in the ocean, enjoying time with her fiance, or playing with their lovely dog Lilyrose.
